The Optical Inspection & Sorting Machine – Glass Disc is an automated system built for the inspection and sorting of fasteners, precision machine parts, turned components, precision brass components, precision automotive components and plastic and rubber parts. Parts travel on a transparent rotating disc past the camera stations, so optical inspection and precision automation work together on every piece.

Alongside surface-defect checking the machine measures dimensions — inner diameter, outer diameter, angle and height — for dimensional accuracy and consistency. A dedicated taper station verifies internal thread present or absent, and OCR/OCV checks read markings.
Manual and automatic loading are both supported, and quantity-wise separate OK ejections segregate acceptable parts from defective ones. By automating the inspection and sorting process it helps reduce human error and keep quality consistent from lot to lot.
